We Share a Passion for Service

"God gives us many great gifts, and we are called to use them wisely as a blessing to others. Through this scholarship we can give back to the place where we met and impact many lives for quite some time."

Dr. Eric Crabtree ’97 knew from a young age that he was called to serve others. Through his Christian mission work, volunteerism, military service, and medical practice, Eric dedicated his life to others’ well-being—and was respected for it. When he unexpectedly passed away last November, his community honored him and his work by contributing to a memorial fund that not only "represented who Eric was," but also was leveraged to create an endowed scholarship at Morris, among other things. "God gives us many great gifts, and we are called to use them wisely as a blessing to others," says Eric's wife, Bridget ’97. "Through this scholarship we can give back to the place where we met and impact many lives for quite some time."
