We Share a Sense of Pride

"I have no idea what Morris will need 50, 60, 70 years from now, but there's a thrill in not knowing what the future holds, and I feel good about leaving a legacy that will truly outlive me. A legacy not for my lifetime, but for the next lifetime."

Daniel J. Moore ’07 has loved Morris since he first stepped on campus in 2003, and he wears that love on his sleeve, often quite literally. His love reached new heights earlier this year when Moore became president of the UMM Alumni Association. Spending time on campus with students and families, faculty, staff, and administrators inspired in him a desire not just to love, but to sustain, the campus. To do so, he made an unrestricted bequest gift to be used as the campus sees fit. "I have no idea what Morris will need 50, 60, 70 years from now, but there's a thrill in not knowing what the future holds, and I feel good about leaving a legacy that will truly outlive me," Moore says. "A legacy not for my lifetime, but for the next lifetime."
