A Model for Beautiful, Smart Spaces

Home first to an American Indian Boarding School, then a boarding agricultural high school, and now a public liberal arts college, UMN Morris has a unique and important history, where the architecture of the past houses the voices of the future.

Our beautiful, smart campus is in need of structural and functional upgrades. With support for campus preservation and improvement, we can transform our environment to strengthen student learning, faculty research, and regional outreach.

Your gift will:

  • Expand and improve spaces for athletics, health, and physical education to enhance the student experience
  • Modernize Briggs Library to increase student and faculty research capabilities
  • Renovate gathering and performance spaces like Edson Auditorium to benefit members of the regional community
  • Convert one of the nation's last remaining American Indian Boarding School buildings into an American Indian cultural center that preserves traditional knowledge, values, and languages for future generations of students, faculty, and citizens

Just a few examples of opportunities to carry our liberal arts vision of a model learning community into our physical space—there are countless others, many of which have yet to be imagined.
